Ordered the rack and garage stand the Sunday night, delivered Tuesday morning.

Easy to assemble, looks great and it was value for money.

I took my new JB Rack on an 800 mile trip two days after I got it. I was a bit nervous because the rack seemed to shake quite a bit. 50 miles into my trip, one of the straps broke and my bike bounced out of the wheel basket, but fortunately got hung up on the tire tab. The strap wasn't put on overly tight. It matched the other two bikes on the rack. When I got home, I did some work to prevent the rack from shaking as much. Lastly, the wheel baskets seem overly large. I don't know what that's about. I'm getting ready to take a major mtb trip, so I thinking forward and trusting that the rack does its job.

Awesome looking and quality product, feels solid, shipping was a pain due to warehouse issue but it was resolved. Assembly was easy with their instructional video

We love this rack but it is heavy - even the 3 bike version. JB Racks said they'd help me customizing this product for 2 bikes but didn't get back to me.

No matter, I went ahead and removed the top bar extensions and left sided of the bottom bar extension (as well as 14 bolts which were no longer required).

Great result:

1. Much lighter - so much easier to lift and move

2. Moved the strap from the now obsolete L side bottom extension bar to the slot in the centre of the bottom bar - both straps are still in functional positions to hold the back wheel and pedals

3. The loaded rack is now much more narrow which means it takes up less space in my garage

Due to the bikes being closer - the only trade off is a need to slightly stagger the bikes (as you would in a 4 or 5 bike situation) by alternating their front wheels forward and then back when positioning them in the rack on the top bar.

All I need to do is get some 50mm plugs for the top bar - now I have removed the (heavy) extensions.

JB Racks you really should think about marketing this option.

I have received and built rack and fitted to vehicle without any real problems. The instruction video is good once you find it and PDF version on line is helpful back up. The overall quality is good, for the price point. Only real fitting issue is the Left side lower wheel angle bracket dont seem to align under the front will position the same as the Right hand side. I have not driven more than 500m down the road as a test run yet as i dont have small rego plate yet to place out back of bikes , with tail light board thing. The Police here in NSW are strict on this so will use next week when i get this as i cannot be bothered removing actual rego plate. I gave some feed back for some Tesla Model Y drivers who might buy this as the hitch clamp is really hard to fit on this vehicle tow bar due to body panels. This is not a rack problem really just the nature of a modern car SUV, rather than a 4WD type ute that it might normally go on.

I am stocked with the product and eager to use it. The rack seems stout and well built. The company could improve a lot more on the assembly manual. The box arrived completely broken down and I thought the product was ruined. Luckily they wrapped all parts in bubble wrap and that was enough to save everything. The instruction manual was missing from the box. There was no instruction manual to download for the garage stand but I was able to figure out from pictures. The manual for the bike rack does not contain a detailed part list. The step by step process is far from detailed and you have to flip through videos and pictures in the website to figure out how to put together. Improving the manual would make the company look a lot more professional and help the end user experience.

Now I need to put it to the test and on the road to validate the bike sturdiness.

So this review is coming from the USA. The rack now built took its maiden voyage yesterday . The rack itself is great. Worked flawlessly with 5 full bike loaded. I love the piston. ( must have). The downside is the packaging of the rack itself for shipping (probably fedex fault) but this thing got destroyed during transit. The way they are just lightly wrapped caused everything to crash together in the box putting chips of paint on most of the top tire rack holders. (It’s a bike rack so I’m not worried but others might be) my advice would be to wrap the parts better in the box. (See pic for the condition of arrival). Other than that. I’m completely happy with my choice and look foward to using this thing for years to come.
